This is great! I believe this is meant for older kids but it's perfect for a 2 year old that wants to be like his 5 yr old brother. He is able to ride next to his brother as I steer and he learns to pedal. When he is ready the handle can be removed and eventually the training wheels. When going for a walk it's so much better than a stroller because the kid gets activity instead of just sitting. Definitely recommend.

My daughter had mastered her balance bike and we were ready to upgrade her. We got this bike for her 4th birthday and removed the training wheels and pedals. We let her use it like a balance bike for one afternoon to get the feel of the new weight. The next day we put the pedals back on (never the training wheels), and she has been pedaling like a pro, never looking back! That's how I would recommend using this bike. It's a great product.
